Fees & Insurance
We believe that healing occurs relationally, through being accepted as our fully Authentic Selves. Across all Wibeto Practice services, including psychiatry, ketamine treatments, Spravato®, and therapy, we take a heart-centered approach, meeting each individual on their own unique timeline and going only to the places they are ready to go.
Psychiatry
We only accept PPO plans for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Optum/United. All other insurances, including Cigna, Medicare, and Medicaid are out of network. We do not take any HMO plans.
Patients are responsible for reviewing their insurance benefits and handling expenses after the processing of a claim. While we are not responsible for informing you of your insurance benefits, we are happy to check your benefit coverage before your first appointment. Please send the front & back of your insurance card to billing@wibetopractice.com and we will be able to give you a more specific breakdown of the estimated cost using your insurance. You can also scroll to the bottom and ask your insurance how they cover the common psychiatry codes.
If you do not have BCBS, Aetna, or Optum/UHC PPO insurance, the total fee for the session is due at the time of service (sorry, we do not accept ‘payment plans’ of any kind). Visits are billed upfront then upon request, our Billing Team can prepare a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance.

Regarding cost, most commonly people pay a $0-20 co-pay (determined by insurance). While we are not responsible for informing you of your insurance benefits, we are happy to check your benefit coverage - please send the front & back of your insurance card along with your date of birth (DOB) to billing@wibetopractice.com and we will be able to give you further instruction.

Ketamine Treatments
(Ketamine + Therapy Integration)
Ketamine treatments are paid entirely out of pocket and the full amount is charged upfront before each session, as insurance currently doesn’t cover this treatment (Spravato® is the FDA-approved ketamine nasal spray that we offer and is covered by insurance). If you are in-network with our insurances (BCBS PPO, Aetna PPO, Optum/UHC PPO), you can meet with a therapist as you ordinarily would for a standard therapy session. If you are not in network, you can view the therapy self-pay rates below. For further questions, please contact Billing through the patient portal or at billing@wibetopractice.com.

Therapy
Shia Forman LSW is here to offer support for those going through Spravato or ketamine treatments, including preparation, integration, and in-session support.
BCBS PPO and Aetna PPO patients can be supported at this time. We are hoping that next summer ’27, Optum/United PPO patients can also receive therapeutic services here.
All out-of-pocket therapy services are priced at $175 for intake and follow-up sessions. As of now, Shia would be able to support someone in a Spravato/ket session for one of the hours, but if someone would like to meet for an additional hour, it would be an out-of-pocket charge of $175.

Be sure to ask how much of your deductible has been met!
If your insurance is “out of network,” we do not submit claims directly - you can request a Superbill from us, which you will then submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement or credit toward your deductible. Please note, the session fee is due at the time of service. Many insurance companies may reimburse between 30-80% of treatment costs, though this is not guaranteed.
Once established as a patient, if any changes are made to your insurance coverage, you must notify us in advance. Failure to alert us of changes in insurance will result in out-of-pocket pricing for subsequent appointments (which we charge up front).
We are in-network with BCBS PPO, Aetna PPO, and Optum/United PPO
PAYMENT: All major credit cards are acceptable ways of making payments.
There are no pre-consultations or free appointments.
Important Information
HOLISTIC CARE:
In order to tend to the entirety of the mind-body connection, we want to ensure you are receiving regular care from a Primary Care Physician / Pediatrician and a Gynecologist (if applicable).
STIMULANT / BENZODIAZEPINE POLICY:
We are mindful in prescribing stimulants (ie. Ritalin, Adderall, Vyvanse) and we have a high threshold for managing benzodiazepines (ie. Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin) medications.
Some people will require dual diagnosis or detox facilities to stabilize first (please consult with Positive Sobriety Institute).
HIGHER LEVEL OF CARE TREATMENT PLANNING:
If your provider determines that you require higher levels of care than what our outpatient office can provide, we expect you will follow through - this is out of care and concern given our experience in recognizing when outpatient levels of support are not adequate.
Some people will require higher levels of care immediately (please consult with Skyway Behavioral Health (adult only), Compass (programs for all ages), Plena (child & adolescent).
CHILD & ADOLESCENT APPOINTMENTS:
Yes, both parent and child are expected to be present at the first appointment (unless there are extenuating circumstances). We trust that the family system will naturally dictate what’s appropriate.
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. To respect our providers’ time and allow us to offer open slots to waitlisted patients, we charge a fee for no-shows and for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment start time. These fees are not covered by your co-pay and cannot be billed to insurance.
